On March 24, 2023, the graduates of the Kharkiv Secondary School of I-III degrees No. 154 of the Kharkiv City Council of the Kharkiv Region visited the Open Door Day of the ICT Department. The event was opened by the head of the department, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, Olesya Petrivna Nechuiviter, who spoke in detail about the educational programs of the department and their features. Assistant professor of the department, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Serhiy Mykolayovych Trokhymchuk, in his speech, focused on the features of the admissions campaign in 2023. The visitors of the event actively asked questions to the students of ICT department, Ksenia Fedyai and Ihor Bondarenko, who participated in the online event and shared their impressions of studying in the specialty 015.39 Professional education (Digital technologies). Later, the meeting took place in the “question-answer” format. During the discussion, future applicants received answers to questions about preparatory courses, features of the educational process, prospects and opportunities offered by studying at UIPA.

Survey of the volunteer educational project
On March 24, 2023, as part of the Open Door Day, the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics conducted a survey among the guests of the event, namely graduates of the Kharkiv Secondary School I-III grades No. 154 of the Kharkiv City Council of the Kharkiv region. The teachers of the department express their gratitude to students Ksenia Fedya and Igor Bondarenko for their help in organizing this online event. The purpose of the survey was to find out which areas of the IT field are interesting for future applicants. The students’ answers will be taken into account in the work of the volunteer educational project.

interactive components (within the optional “Modern
Information Technology”). The aim and purpose of the event is aimed at
familiarization of 10th grade students with the concept and technologies of artificial
intelligence, prospects for the development of artificial intelligence in the world and
Ukraine. In general, everyone was satisfied, there was information
interesting and meaningful, students asked questions and learned a lot
necessary and interesting.
On March 2, 2023, an online lesson was held in the 6-A class (within the programming circle) at Kharkiv Secondary School No. 153 of the Kharkiv City Council of the Kharkiv Region with the participation of Master’s student Alina Chaika and Deputy Director of Educational Work I.V. Glinchenko. The lesson was dedicated to revealing the students’ talents in programming languages. The online server “Codecombat” was used, which helped to interest students in cooperation, taught the basics of programming and entertained children in such a difficult emotional time. It can be concluded from the lesson that the children are very interested in programming and are interested in the basics of information technology.
