Participation of Oleksandr KUPRIYANOV in the Annual Meeting of Kharkiv IT Cluster

On December 9, the Annual General Meeting of Kharkiv IT Cluster was held at the venue of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The meeting summarized the results of the entire IT industry of Ukraine in 2024 and defined the areas of work for 2025. The event was held simultaneously in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Warsaw, and online.

The event was attended by Oleg SINEHUBOV, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Igor TEREKHOV, Mayor of Kharkiv, who presented awards to companies that made a significant contribution to the sustainability of Kharkiv.

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held a roundtable for representatives of vocational and general education

On 11 September 2024, a roundtable for representatives of vocational education institutions and secondary school teachers was held at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University within the Erasmus+ project CRED4TEACH. The roundtable topic was “Formation and improvement of digital competencies of VET teachers and school teachers based on massive open online courses (MOOCs)”.

The event featured presentations: by the project coordinator at the UEPA, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Oleksandr KUPRIYANOV on “Microcredentials obtained based on massive open online courses (MOOCs) for the teachers’ professional development”, he presented the CRED4TEACH project and spoke about the opportunities for the roundtable participants; by project participant, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Andrii LOMAKIN presented the topic “Pan-European structure of micro-credentials”, where he described in detail the features of obtaining micro-credentials, as well as receiving them within the project; Professor Tetiana BONDARENKO made a presentation on “Professional development of VET teachers and school teachers based on MOOCs” and spoke about the structure of MOOCs that will be developed and presented by the UEPA within the CRED4TEACH project. далее …

MOOC studio was opened at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy

On August 30, the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) studio was opened at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, Kharkiv, Ukraine.

It was designed and equipped with digital technology for creating open online courses as part of the Erasmus+ Academy`s implementation of the higher education capacity development project №101082858 CRED4TEACH “MOOC-based microcredentials for teacher professional development”.

In the presence of members of UEPA Academic Council, members of the Erasmus+ CRED4TEACH project team, and students, the MOOC studio was opened by the Rector of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, Professor Denys Kovalenko. He called on the broader academic community and representatives of vocational education to actively cooperate and use the UEPA MOOC studio to create modern educational content for higher and vocational education in Ukraine. Representatives of the Erasmus+ CRED4TEACH project team visited the University of the Mediterranean (Montenegro)

Representatives of the project team of the Ukrainian Erasmus+ Academy of Engineering and Pedagogy of the CRED4TEACH project “MOOC-based microqualifications for teachers’ professional development”, Professor of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies and Mathematics Tetiana Bondarenko and Head of the UIPA Research Team, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy Efficient Technologies Hanna Hrinchenko returned from a study and working visit to the University of the Mediterranean (Gogorica, Montenegro). A training on the microcredentials was held in UEPA within Erasmus+ project CRED4TEACH implementation

On February 16, the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy hosted a training meeting with management and scientific and pedagogical staff of the Academy in a mixed format. The goal is to spread information about the activities of the Erasmus+ CRED4TEACH project «MOOC-based microcredentials for teacher professional development» and the implementation of pedagogical microcredential educating programs in UEPA.

Representatives of the project team, Deputy First Vice-Rector, Associate Professor of the Practical Psychology Department Andrii LOMAKIN and Head of the Scientific Activity Group of UEPA, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy-Efficient Technologies Hanna HRINCHENKO shared the experience and knowledge gained during participation in the educational event «Professional development of teachers in Ukraine, Montenegro and Albania: conceptualization and accreditation of MOOC-based microcredentials», which took place on February 5-7 at the Universidade Aberta de Portugal.

Members of the UEPA Erasmus+ project team of the CRED4TEACH project took part in training at the Portuguese Open University

Participants from the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy of the Erasmus+ CRED4TEACH project “MOOC-based microcredentials for teacher professional development”, deputy first vice-rector, associate professor of practical psychology department Andrii Lomakin and head of the scientific activity group of UEPA, associate professor of automation, metrology and energy-efficient technologies department Hrinchenko Hanna, from February 5 to 7 took part in the training “Professional development of teachers in Ukraine, Montenegro and Albania: conceptualization and accreditation of MOOC-based microcredentials” at the Portuguese Open University.

The following events were attended as part of the training:

  • Meeting with the management of the Portuguese Open University and the coordinators of the CRED4TEACH project “MOOC-based microcredentials for teacher professional development”;
  • Considered issues of professional development of teachers and lecturers in Europe, Ukraine, Montenegro and Albania;
  • Studied conceptualization and accreditation peculiarities of MOOC-based microcredentials using the experience of leading European states;
  • Work was carried out in groups on the perspectives of creation, conceptualization and accreditation of microcredentials in Ukraine, Montenegro and Albania.
