MOOC studio was opened at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy

On August 30, the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) studio was opened at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, Kharkiv, Ukraine.

It was designed and equipped with digital technology for creating open online courses as part of the Erasmus+ Academy`s implementation of the higher education capacity development project №101082858 CRED4TEACH “MOOC-based microcredentials for teacher professional development”.

In the presence of members of UEPA Academic Council, members of the Erasmus+ CRED4TEACH project team, and students, the MOOC studio was opened by the Rector of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, Professor Denys Kovalenko. He called on the broader academic community and representatives of vocational education to actively cooperate and use the UEPA MOOC studio to create modern educational content for higher and vocational education in Ukraine. Participation of representatives of the department in the final conference on the PAGOSTE Project

The PAGOSTE project’s final conference took place on November 6-8 at Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria). Titled “Vocational Teacher Education: Between Aspirations and Challenges,” the international conference reviewed the outcomes of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “New mechanisms of partnership-based governance and standardization of vocational teacher education in Ukraine” (PAGOSTE). Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy has been participating in this project from 2020 to 2024. The conference featured 23 presentations from scientists and teaching professionals across 5 countries.

At the conference, IKT&M was represented by Oleksandr Kupriyanov and Tetiana Bondarenko. The team, comprising Tetiana Bondarenko, Oleksandr Kupriyanov and Olena Kovalenko, presented the report “Ecosystem of digital solutions for VET institutions: the example of Ukraine and global trends.” далее …

Education of our masters in Poland

poland-slipsk1Masters of the specialty “Professional education. Computer technologies” Andreychenko Igor, Plohotina Aliona, Korzhun Dmitry from September to December 2017 were studying at UIPA-partner university of the Pomeranian Academy of Slupsk (Poland) within the cooperation between educational institutions. There they mastered discipline in the field of “Information Security”. The training took place in Polish, but this was not an obstacle for our students. It rather gave an opportunity to get closer to the linguistic culture of neighboring Poland. The listeners attended the classes in good faith, fulfilled all practical and individual tasks, which allowed them to master new subjects and successfully pass the exam. далее …
