The Erasmus+ teams of the CRED4TEACH project have completed their training and presented MOOC projects based on the results of the course “Toward becoming a MOOC designer”

On February 2, participants from the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy Erasmus+ of the CRED4TEACH “MOOC-based micro-credentials for the professional development of teachers” project presented their MOOCs (massive open online courses), which were developed based on the results of studying at Anadolu University (Turkey) and mastering the “Toward becoming a MOOC designer” course.

The coordinator of the courses was professor Cengiz Hakan Aydin, head of the distance education department of Anadolu University.

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy presented three educational course projects, which revealed the creative possibilities of MOOC developers and high quality standards according to the instructions of Turkish colleagues.

According to the recommendations, the participants performed a number of key tasks:

  • creation of training courses, video materials, text content, quizzes and other interactive resources according to the provided MOOC Design templates;
  • creation of a practically working model of an online learning environment for convenient access to it by everyone;
  • filling the course with educational content: adding educational videos, text, infographics, tasks and other resources for support;
  • conducting a thorough check of the functionality of all elements, the performance of the developed course model;
  • implementation of advanced approaches to MOOC development, including implementation experience at Anadolu University.

Based on the results of training and protection of MOOC projects, the teaching staff of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy gained new experience in creating modern high-quality distance learning tools and technologies, and all participants will receive certificates of participation in the international project and successful mastering of the “Toward becoming a MOOC designer”. We congratulate the participants and wish them further success.
